Rules & What to Bring

A few simple things to know before you come — nothing complicated, we promise.

  • Ring or text us in the morning to book your afternoon slot — same day is preferred
  • Bring your apples in plastic buckets, crates or robust containers — these will be returned to you
  • No cardboard boxes please
  • Apples must be clean and free from leaves, twigs and debris — any variety is welcome, and don't worry about a few bruises up to a point
  • Apples will be checked upon arrival
  • You will need to fill out a short form with your name, address and telephone number on arrival
  • We only use our own glass bottles — please don't bring your own. We no longer use recycled bottles to reduce waste and breakage
  • We'd prefer payment by bank transfer but cash is still accepted. Bank details will be provided on arrival
  • Pasteurised apple juice costs £2.80 per bottle — payment is made before you collect your bottles
  • Cider makers: unpasteurised pressing is available at £1 per litre. A date will be agreed at drop off and juice must be collected same day as juicing occurs
  • We press from August (weather permitting) through to early November, until the apples stop falling
